  5. Thank you for downloading the SmartFields system.  Please read the following
  6. terms and conditions before using this system.  Use of this system
  7. constitutes acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.  If you do not agree
  8. with these terms, you should promptly discard all SmartFields files.

  11. LICENSE

  14. The SmartFields system has been made available to the general public for
  15. educational purposes only.  You may incorporate the SmartFields system in
  16. both commercial and non-commercial applications provided it is in binary
  17. object code format only and is embedded within the applications.
  18.  
  19. SmartFields is freely distributable as long as all of the following
  20. conditions are met:
  21.  
  22.   1) All of the files must be included in their original form without
  23.      additions, deletions, or modifications of any kind.  Any such
  24.      modifications must appear in separate files.
  25.  
  26.   2) All copyright notices must remain intact.
  27.  
  28.   3) SmartFields may be incorporated in both commercial and non-commercial
  29.      applications provided it is in binary object code format only and is
  30.      embedded within the applications.

  32.   4) SmartFields may not appear on shareware or public domain disks for which
  33.      the consumers are charged more than a nominal disk copying fee of seven
  34.      dollars (US $7) per disk.
  35.  
  36.   5) SmartFields may not appear on any electronic service which charges more
  37.      than the basic access fee to download SID.
  38.  
  39.   6) SmartFields may not appear on any electronic service that claims
  40.      copyrights to uploaded programs, either alone or as part of a collection.

  46. THE SMART FIELDS SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND MANUAL ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT
  47. WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
  48. TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
  49. PURPOSE.  YOU ARE ADVISED TO TEST EACH FUNCTION AND PROGRAM THOROUGHLY BEFORE
  50. RELYING UPON IT.  YOU AGREE TO ACCEPT THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND
